Peter Green surprised me after I listened to this album. I always read about the LSD/Mental Illness problems that Peter was battling, but he sounded great. I have heard almost all of his previous works, and I did wonder about the guitar work. His leads are very sparse, unlike his Fleetwood Mac days, but maybe he felt that he had to use lead guitar to fit the dynamics of the song.
