"This is a wonderful disc. Even though there is no traditional 'rhythm section (i.e. bass/drums), there are tracks that groove. There are also tracks that are beautifully delicate; particularly the Bach pieces - nice harpsicord-like sound. One thing that may get over-looked is that there is, musically, some good humour here; paricularly in 'A Connecticut Yankee...' [I'm FROM Connecticut!]. The Wabash Cannonball is another good one (even hard-core country music fans - who might not care for the 'spacier' stuff - would appreciate the way it's covered here; I betcha Roy Acuff would like it!!)."

"I purchased this record in November of 1998 while I was on a business trip to Massachussetts and I can assure you boys and girls it has been almost a non-stop listening experience. Rarely!! and I do mean RARELY!! does one find a record of with music of this caliber and intensity. Intergalactic Boogie Express is a gem that shine with is own light. This record has the distinguished playing, metronomic precision, and depth that Fripp ensembles have accustomed us, plus a good share of exemplary compositions where the works of Nigel Gavin and Tobin Buttram feature prominently.
"I am looking forward to acquire more guitar craft music, however these records are not readily available in Puerto Rico. Help!!!"

"Having just purchased "Intergalactic Boogie Express" I was struck by how much Eye of the Needle (track 7) sounds to me like a slower version of Hardy Country from the Summers/Fripp release "I Advance Masked" (coincidentally, also on track 7!) Both of these are great discs. "Boogie" provides several special treats when the Crafties do some beautiful renditions of some of Bach's works. Also a hit with every listener are the very cartoonish A Connecticut Yankee in the Court of King Arthur and the foot-stompin' Wabash Cannonball. Not what you'd expect from our dear Bobby."
